Stress is the body’s normal response in the face of danger or perceived threats. An ancient survival mechanism that allow us to ‘fight or flight’ in dangerous situations.

Today stress has reached epidemic proportion. With the many demands made on us, the normal stress response is engaged but is often buried or unexpressed. Stress is the unexpressed urge to flee or fight an event or interaction. The stress response is constantly triggered preventing the mind, emotions and body to return to balance and normalise. 

Stress threatens our well being when it becomes habitual or chronic. PNI researches observing chronically stressed people have a number of disturbances in their immune system reactions .
