Chika Taylor is a fully qualified, registered and insured Hypnotherapist & Psychotherapist.

  The Therapeutic Contract:         

The client –therapist relationship is based on co-operation, trust and mutual respect. This assures that change is achieved quickly and efficiently because there is no conflict of interest when both parties are working towards the same goals. 

The therapist acts as a catalyst to allow change, healing and personal growth. The therapeutic contract and treatment schedule are continually refined to your personal needs. 

Consultation 

First sessions lasts 90 minutes. During consultation, a full case history is taken and fees, therapeutic contract are discussed and agreed. Thereafter all sessions lasts one hour. 

How Many Sessions?

Each therapeutic session lasts for approximately one hour. All sessions are completely confidential. It is general practice that clients commit to a minimum of ten sessions with attendance on a weekly basis for therapy to be effective. Thereafter attendance is open and the contract can be terminated by either party. 
Smoking cessation and phobias are usually treated in ten sessions provided that a deeper emotional issue is not indicated and that attendance has been on a weekly basis.

Currently anyone can claim to be a Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist. Do not accept therapist that are part qualified . Statutory regulation governing the Psychotherapeutic Profession is still to be adopted. Until then check credentials with the NRHP (MNRHP) or other professional umbrella organisations.
